A name, place, or other term entered into a search box is sent to the third-party provider that operates the tool. This site does not intentionally store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider’s notice and terms govern its handling after submission.
If you send an email or contact message, we keep the information needed to read and answer it. We do not share a message outside the organization unless doing so is needed to respond, run the service, or comply with a valid legal requirement.

We may need enough information to verify the request. A request cannot force this private site to change a sheriff, court, IDOC, VINE, or other government record. Corrections to those records must go to the office that created them.

This privacy notice may be revised as site practices, vendors, or legal duties change. The updated version takes effect when posted here with its new effective date.
